Thrift Store Thursday's
Found this fantastic beast in the dumpster where donations that are damaged get tossed. I didn’t see anything wrong with this Jester’s Hat picture frame a part from the fact that it is a Jester’s Hat picture frame, so I snatched it. A hardcover copy of The Jungle Book (and other stories) found in recycling. ANY PRE-TEEN BOYS WANT TO GET HALF NAKED AND LEVITATE INTO THIS BOOK...

Anonymous asked: oh thank you! yes the lower number is 3.5 in my lens. what are the situations when you need a higher number? I know you shoot in manual.. how do you know which aperture/shutter speed to use? that's still confusing to me, but I'm learning :)

Anonymous asked: we know you want to help people. and you do help us. even if you never told us how to do anything (just an IF, because I know you tell us lots of things), you would still help us. you're helping us by taking pictures. You're giving us inspiration and that is really really really important and I want to thank you because of that.

Anonymous asked: what are some of the photos that people took saying that it is inspired by you?
Dec 20th
Anonymous asked: hey you, just keep in mind, people's work sometimes may look like or reflect someone else's idea, but it is also always different. feel honoured people may take inspiration off from you. sometimes people have ideas and didn't know how to do it, so they ask people who they've seen do it. yes it may look like copying, but give them credit that maybe they did have the idea...

Anonymous asked: have you ever thought that just because you've seen a concept that is similar to yours, it doesn't mean they took it from you. (in a scenario where the person has none of your photos fav'ed or, even have you on flickr?) sorry this sounds rather rude, it's not meant to be. just remember, no idea is original anymore, people feed off and get inspired by one another. i've seen...

thiskitchenisfordancing asked: I can't imagine how frustrating it is for you to see your work being replicated. I've seen many artists on flickr (one in particular) who's entire stream seems to be based off yours. They throw an occasional link to you as the inspiration for an individual photo and I just want to scream "ALL OF YOUR WORK IS "INSPIRED" BY LISSY!!" Just know you have a ton of fans...

Anonymous asked: would you mind if someone used your concept BUT credited you? mentioned your name in the description or something ? I never used any of your concepts, I'm just curious. But I LOVE your photos so much and I hope someday I can take photos like yours.
